Going to Old Trafford?

September 2nd, 2009

No this isn’t an article for all you plastic Mancs who live in Slough or some other far flung part of the Universe and think you are a Man Utd fan! It is for the hard core traveling fans who are lucky enough to get a ticket for the away section, which is a nightmare based on Manchester United’s very poor ticket allocation. Of all the available soccer apparel we recommend the new Umbro England drill top.

Whilst it looks cool it keeps you warm and if you wish to travel to Old Trafford incognito it is ideal. In addition it is sticking 2 fingers up at the group of Man Utd fans that believe Man Utd are greater than England. That topic may well be the subject of a future post.

“Old Traffordish”

August 31st, 2009

Arsene Wenger has added a new phrase to the English Language: “Old Traffordish“. Roughly translated it refers to poor penalty decisions that go to Manchester United at Old Trafford.

“The penalty decision was ‘Old Traffordish’. There were a lot of things that happened which were beyond belief. The ref made the decision from the middle of their half, so I don’t know how. It is difficult to go home without a point when these things happen. You know what you are going to get every time you come to Old Trafford.”, Said Wenger.

The ref was Mike Dean for the record. Arsenal lost 2-1 with their own penalty claim turned down and a late goal disallowed.

Nike Shirt advertising to work against Man Utd

August 28th, 2009

It occured to us at Hate Manchester United that it is rather odd that Man Utd have Nike as their shirt sponsor. Sure Nike get the advertising exposure they are paying for by having people parading around in every town wearing the devilish top in the world, thinking they are Man Utd fans. However Nike products can be used against Manchester United. For example how many players will score against Man Utd wearing Nike football boots? We are not going to try and work his out, it is just the principle we are working with.

Nike

Indeed why not encourage the youth of today to wear Nike Youth soccer cleats so that one day they can develop into a player that will score goals against Man Utd, all because of their greed for the advertising income! Pictured are our top recommendation of Nike5 T-1 CT Jr.

Man Utd get away with it twice

August 27th, 2009

It won’t come as a surprise to people who hate Manchester United that Vidic putting his hand into the face of Wigan’s Rodallega, as refereed by Howard Webb or the Man Utd players surrounding referee Chris Foy versus Chelsea in the Community Shield are to go unpunished. :(

Manchester United fan a disgrace

August 20th, 2009

A Manchester United “fan”paid £55 for his team’s kit printed with 96, the number of people killed at Hillsborough, YSB standing for You Scouse B*****ds and the words “Not Enough”. A clear dig at rivals Liverpool. Then proceeded to put photos on Facebook. This has been generally condemned by all football supporters including, to their credit, Manchester United fans at ManUnitedDevils. Obviously at Hate Man Utd we condemn this inhumane gesture. This website is aimed at poking fun at Manchester United and everything that there is to hate about them. However, derogatory references to the Munich air disaster or other extreme types of hatred are not tolerated here. Indeed we strive to keep the content suitable for a family audience (after all we want kids to be put off supporting Man Utd!).

Burnley 1 Man Utd 0

August 20th, 2009

This is what the Burnley fans would have been praying for when they got promoted - a win over local rivals Manchester United. Those not familiar with the locality of Manchester (i.e. any Man Utd fans who are reading this), Burnley is a town near Manchester with a population similar to the home attendance at Old Trafford. :)

Great start to the new season

CHELSEA V MANCHESER UNITED

One piece of non-sense sorted already this season, thanks to Chelsea in the Charity Shield. The idiots who drempt up Man Utd could win “5 trophies” (which was a joke when including the Charity Shield) cannot happen this season. :)

Chelsea winning on Penalties.

Another of the most hated leave Man Utd - Tevez. After Ronaldo and now Tevez leaving we could be short of players to hate for the coming 2009/10 season….. nah, plenty of stuff will get under our skin!

The pleasure of seeing Tevez score for Man City v Man Utd will be pleasing :)
