Furguson - The cover up

Wednesday, October 7th, 2009

Here is a quote from The Sun website:

The union for referees has demanded the FA get tough with the Manchester United boss for accusing Alan Wiley of being unfit. Ferguson accused Wiley of being unfit to referee United’s clash with Sunderland at Old Trafford last Saturday.

It is a clear smoke screen to divert attention from Wiley being in Fergies pocket, after Wiley played enough extra time for Man Utd to score in injury time (again). Or was Fergie’s upset because the idea was enough extra time should have been played to score 2 goals and thus a Man Utd win??? If Fergie is thrown out of football as a consequence of this (unlikely but possible, apparently) it will be so he can appeal against it - win - and take the cash as a pension pot :( .

Another injury time goal and Mau Utd get a point

Sunderland the victims of an Old Trafford injury time goal this time, to make the final score 2-2. It was pleasing to see Man Utd not win but it is funny (not) to see that the ref was Alan Wiley.

Will Ferguson be Slaughtered?

Sunday, May 24th, 2009

Ahead of the game with Hull City, Man Utd plan to play a weakened team as part of their preparation for the Champions League Final. Obviously a controversial decision based on Hull needing a win to stay in the top flight. Which impacts on the other teams who could be relegated today (Newcastle, Middlesborough and Sunderland).

Furguson has realised that if Man Utd lose they will be accused of damaging the integrity of the Premier League. And made the following quote:

“If we don’t win on Sunday I will be slaughtered on Monday. It will be the worst thing that has ever happened to the British game”. See above link for source of the quote.

Interesting…… Lets see what happens.

Manchester United jokes

Sunday, December 7th, 2008

I found this joke and others when surfing the net.

Q: Did you hear that the British Post Office has just recalled their latest stamps?
A: Well, they had photos of Manchester United players on them - folk couldn’t figure out which side to spit on.

I needed something to cheer me up after the injury time goal against Sunderland and the predicatable home draws in the Carling Cup which essentially means Man Utd been given a bye into the final stages of the competition.

At least ex red Roy Keane left Sunderland before the visit to Old Trafford. Meaning I can’t use a conspiracy theory to explain why Sunderland had  no shots (on or off target) in the whole game!
